Red’s Quality Acre offers wholesale deliveries to restaurants interested in supporting sustainable farming; we are eager to develop meaningful relationships between chef and farmer to promote a reliable, accessible, high-quality food system.
We are seeking chef and restaurant partners who have a deep appreciation for quality produce. Co-Founder and Production Manager Dave Henderson has several years of restaurant sales experience with well-known Chicago restaurants that range from Michelin-star restaurants with seasonal menus, to local cafes with traditional comfort food, and everything in between. Through strategic crop planning and relationship building, Dave plans to develop growing practices that offer high-volume items as well as specialty items for Red's restaurant partners. We intend to run the farm with minimal use of machinery, thus promoting an attention to detail that maintains quality vegetable production and processing, which can be sacrificed when farms become fully mechanized. When you harvest, wash and process vegetables by hand, no integrity is lost. Red’s Quality Acre hopes that talented chefs will value and embrace this philosophy and further advance the integrity of our produce through their skilled practices.
How it Works: Red’s will send buyers an availability email every Wednesday morning to place weekly orders of our seasonal produce. Wholesale orders will then be harvested and delivered to your location the next day (Thursday).
Pricing: Red’s is committed to keeping our prices affordable for our wholesale partners. As members of the local growing community, our goal is to keep our prices in line with local farms that grow similar high-quality produce and utilize like-minded practices.
